THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health minister Veena George has instructed the director of health department to take further action under Kerala Public Health Act, 2023, in the wake of bird flu outbreak in two wards in Alappuzha.
Panchayat-level committees under the Act have been instructed to meet urgently in all the panchayats of Alappuzha.
Nearby panchayats and municipalities are under surveillance and should be monitored at the district level and progress reports should be reported at state level.
